:: REFRACTORY BED MATERIAL
In recent years, interest has been growing in another mode of burning coal - The Fluidized Bed. The potential advantages of combustion system with this burning mode are Low Fuel Bed Temperature & High Heat Transfer Rate.
In the fluidized bed operation, Refractory Bed Material acts as a reservoir of heat and supplies the ignition energy for the fuel whenever required.
The average operating bed temperature can vary from 900ºC to 950ºC in a fluidized bed boiler. However, at certain local points or near the place where coal combustion is taking place, the bed temperature may likely to be much more. To take care of this uncertainty, the initial deformation temperature of bed material has been specified as more than 1300ºC this means, there is a clear margin of about 400ºC to take care of this unknown effects.
We produced Refractory Bed Material in AN AUTOMETIC PLANT, having a Capacity of 12,000 tpa. It is a closed circuit grinding and screening facilities with online double magnetic separator. Incremental samples are drawn for testing particle size, density and chemical analysis.
